Our Story
My name is Bartolomeo Guarienti di Brenzone and I founded Mocassinis with a simple mission. Create a default brand for simply elegant mocassins at a reasonable price point.
I always admired my Fathers shoes, handmade in Rome in the late 70s. The shape and style was just so refined and elegant, something you rarely see these days.
I finally discovered a small town in Spain where the shoemaking tradition had remained unspoilt by modern methods (and prices).
Real artisans with incredible skills that made the process a pleasure and a learning experience.
We were able to copy the last and begin the process of creating the shoe, sourcing the leather and perfecting the stitching and colours.
A lot of work and alot of passion and skill went into creating this shoe. Now we are finally able to make mocassinis available to You.
